Our Beginner Group attracts children from various schools in the area - Brereton, Elworth Hall, Audlem and as far as from over the Staffordshire border. They all share an enthusiasm to play as a group and develop their musical ability. The group is aimed at new players up to Grade 2.

 

The Group is being conducted by Halla Cottam, a member of the Community Band and an ex-member of the Youth Band. We are also very lucky to have a group of players and parents who are available to come along and help when needed. Our Musical Director is also available and has recently been helping along the Cornet section - not bad for a Tuba player!

New players are very welcome to come along and listen to a rehearsal or better still bring along their instrument to join in. The rehearsals are in the 

Bandroom at Sandbach High School from 9:00 - 10:15 on a Saturday morning during term time.
